Patent for SCANSHIFT ISSUED

Issue of U.S.Patent #5,689,651 on November 18, 1997 for "System for processing and displaying financial information"

SCANSHIFT is a Revolutionary, Quote Display Program Using Aircraft Instrument Scan Technology to Replace the Standard Quote Screen Rows and Columns Format

CHICAGO, IL.—November 21, 1997—The patent for SCANSHIFT was issued on November 18, 1997. The application for SCANSHIFT had been filed three years earlier on October 13, 1994. This patent can be viewed by going to the U.S. Patent Office Web site, http://patents.uspto.gov , selecting the search patents screen, and typing in the patent number 5,689,651. SCANSHIFT allows the user to absorb market information and changing market conditions with a degree of mental and visual efficiency never before available. SCANSHIFT replaces the current quote screen displays of rows and columns with a visually ergonomic display system inspired by aircraft instrument panels and military aircraft carrier landing technology.

Pilot scan techniques are critical for survival when flying in inclement weather where one is solely dependent on information from cockpit instruments. Landing military jets on aircraft carriers at sea and delivering air-to-ground weapons both require immediate, efficient scans of visual information. Traders also need to instantly assimilate visual information. Now for the first time, by using SCANSHIFT, traders can use its revolutionary components to scan and prosper in the volatile, time critical commodity futures, currency, equity and option markets.

Mr. Fane Lozman, the Chairman of Blue Water Partners, Inc, invented SCANSHIFT.

Mr. Lozman was a former U.S. Marine Corps pilot, who became a OEX floor broker, Treasury Bond floor trader and then S&P 500 floor trader. Blue Water Partners, Inc. also has Mr. John Bollinger and Mr. Jon Najarian as partners.

Mr. Bollinger is world renowned for his development of the technical study, Bollinger Bands. He spent ten years as the Chief Market Analyst for the cable television networks, Financial News Network (FNN) which then became CNBC. He went on to form his own investment management company, Bollinger Capital Management, and still appears weekly on CNBC to present analysis and commentary

Mr. Najarian owns Mercury Trading, one of the largest designated primary market maker (DPM) firms at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He is the DPM in Micron Technology, BayNetworks, along with another 30+ stocks. He is also a Director of the Chicago Board Options Exchange.

SCANSHIFT was programmed by Investment Engineering Corp., a firm that develops innovative software solutions for a wide range of applications including the brokerage profession. With significant background in engineering, software development and investment strategy, the firm successfully integrates NASA, aerospace, and military expertise with advanced Windows and graphic programming. "We create technology which enables the professional broker to become more productive and profitable by pushing current trading technology to the edge" says Doug Deming, President of Investment Engineering Corp.
